Enterome
Develops microbiome-derived peptide cancer immunotherapies targeting tumor-associated antigens
Enterome's OncoMimics vaccine EO2463 won FDA Orphan Drug status in watch-and-wait indolent lymphoma.

Here's a clever trick. Most cancer vaccines fight an uphill battle against tolerance, because tumor antigens look like your own tissue. Enterome's OncoMimics platform uses peptides from gut bacteria that happen to mimic tumor antigens, so it borrows the immune system's existing army of antimicrobial memory T cells and points it at the cancer. EO2463 has Orphan Drug status in indolent non-Hodgkin lymphoma, on top of a Fast Track from October, aimed at watch-and-wait patients who currently get nothing.
